UPDATE: When rereading this chapter to prepare to work on chapter seven, I realized I had a few issues with the Sandor/Sansa scene. So I revised it and reposted the updated chapter. Hopefully the scene is stronger and flows smoother now. :)

I have the same problems with the deleted scene as I do with the 2x07 scene, plus a few extra (like Tyrion).
It just…it drives me mad. Because they could have made the scene work in 2x03, or if they badly wanted to keep it more intact, they could have put it after 2x04 and given him a flagon of wine to hold to indicate he’d been drinking and was intoxicated.
While there are some problems with the scene that mostly stem from Dick and Douche just not grasping Sandor’s character at all (or grasping it well and fearing it because hello brutish not!knight that is brought to tears by a girly girl), if it was after 2x04 I could fanwank easily enough that some of his behavior was brought on by the events of that episode.
Obviously their dynamic in this is different because he’s older, Sansa herself is older (I’m thinking she’s fourteen at this point), and the first season switched up a lot of things. But even with those changes, the placement of this scene and the context, taking in what happens before and after the scene, it just doesn’t work for tv canon, either.
But it could have.
And that drives me absolutely bonkers.
I just want the Sansa and Sandor scene uploaded today or tomorrow. Or at least details on it.
SOMEONE PLEASE GET DETAILS FOR THAT UP ASAP.
